Hello November, Goodbye peace-of-mind...

At first when i changed my calendar to November i thought “Gosh, time has passed so fast”. I was looking forward to the start of my holidays and planning all the ground-breaking work i was going to do, but then.... There it was..... the new Astro Magazine

(Huh... i wonder what happened to it... Heh-Heh-Heh)

And then Seventeen Magazine!!!


And then i realized... November is going to be full of Twilight!!! And not the good kind either.. its the bad Hollywood-influenced type.... Gah! D: No.....!!!! Not only is the second New Moon coming out... The first movie is gonna be on Astro too... In my own house!!!
Although i must admit... the wolf pack look awfully H-O-T-HOT... =)

A Letter of Love

Dear Robert Pattinson,
You're a jerk.
A simple-minded, unimaginative, unhygienic jerk. The reason you were chosen for the role of Edward Cullen is unfathomable. Maybe you just lucked out because you had red hair and the better looking dudes were too old. Whatever it may be you put his name to shame. Mind you, no one knew your name before there was Twilight. When discussing the actor for the character Edward Cullen, the conversations were basically like this:
"Does anyone know who is gonna play Edward Cullen?"
- "I heard it's gonna be that Cedric guy from Harry Potter"
"The one that died?"
- "Yea"
"Oh... hmm..."

OR even if some DID know your name it basically was:
"Who's playing Edward???"
- "Robert Pattinson"
"Who?"
- "That guy that played Cedric in HP"
"Who???"
- "The one that died in the end"
"Ooh!!! Well, he's KINDA cute..."

Honestly, i read the comment threads. Granted i never watched the movie, looking at the posters were enough for me. And the trailer sealed the deal that i will NEVER watch it. Your supposed "beautiful, pained" look? Yea. It looks like your painfully comstipated instead.
And so, i'd like to say that you dont have to worry about people (or at least SOME people) mistaking you for your character Edward because you are the furthest thing from him they could have hired for this job. Unfortunately, i cant vow this for everyone because there are still those that are crazy about you. Emphasis on the word crazy.
I simply cannot understand how you could play a character you hardly understand and don't even like. It's an insult to all those that take YOU, of all people, as their representation of the dream that is Edward Cullen. The fact that you can insult your own character like that.... I have lost ALL respect for you.
If you cannot understand that character and what he stands for, well i extremely pity whoever falls in love with you for real bacause you obviously dont understand what it means to really, REALLY love.
But Good Luck to you! Hope you dont get run over by (too many) cabs.. and good luck with your face. =D
p/s:- but if you destroy any more of my favourite story book characters, I hope you are trampled and torn appart by a horde of screaming fans.

Just a Heartbeat away....

It’s the month of June and my friend’s birthday is in less than a two weeks. I panic.

To all the people that scream "Crazy!"

This is for all the girls that fell in love with the image of Edward Cullen. This is to all the people that laugh and think we’ve lost our minds.....

I don’t see why people should think / call those that are in love with Edward Cullen crazy or foolish (though I’ll admit some are crazier than others). Whats so wrong about wanting someone like Edward Cullen? Because he’s not realistic?

Well that’s not OUR fault.

The image of Edward Cullen that we (most of us) fall in love with is not all about the striking Greek god looks, the sparkling skin, his money, the fact that he’s a vampire or even the supernatural powers (although those are pretty appealing). We aren’t stupid; we know that stuff isn’t possible.

It’s the chivalry!!! The personality of a gentleman, the utter selflessness he possesses. It’s about the fact he can love someone, Bella, so completely. We want THAT.

Bella and Edward have a relationship based on LOVE, not passion. Love; pure and simple. And so strong! And that’s what is lacking in the society today. What is lacking in the boys we see (most of them). It’s a classic saying that “Boys are only after one thing” and it’s all too true. We are tired of women being portrayed as sex symbols. Instead, we want to be attractive not because we’re “hot” or “sexy” or even confident and outgoing, but because of us. Who we are.

And as much as we would like it, we’re not looking for someone that lives entirely for one person (that would be so romantic but clearly improbable). Edward Cullen has nothing else to live for, and honestly that kind of obsession might be a little scary.... coming from a human. =)

So I dont think guys or other people should tell us to get over this big fantasy of our very own Edward Cullen. Because it IS possible for a guy to be chivalrous, most just dont care enough. All the guy has to do is get the personality right, we’ll add the glitter... =)

For someone to love you and only you so entirely and honestly, not see anyone else, who wouldn’t want to experience that? Huh? The idea of finding someone so perfect for you, THAT’s what we hope to find, hope to achieve.....

Bella was a simple girl and Edward loved her so completely, THAT is what is so appealing about the story. Seeing them convince the other of who loves them more and sacrificing what they can to make the other happy.

THAT is what this crazy fan girl wants... but i guess it IS impossilble cause there isn’t a guy like that out there right? =)

Of course, who wouldn’t want EDWARD CULLEN, whole and true the full package. Might as well aim high right? Oh well, I still have my books...

My new and improved "Bella's Bracelet"

In a previous post i mentioned the "Bella's Bracelet" that I made for myself... http://dzworld-heartbeat-of-life.blogspot.com/2008/02/my-bellas-bracelet.html

But then it was just a heart and it wasnt even permanently attached... haha.

So now i redid the whole thing and it looks great....

I went on Ebay and got copper wolf charms, and bought a new shinier swarovski crystal heart. I also changed the bracelet which is now more charm bracelet-ish... :D

Ta-Daa!!!

And then i turned the heart from the previous bracelet into a keychain. Along with anothe wolf charm and an apple... Unfortunately it isnt red but oh well... beggers cant be choosers.... The heart actually looks better here after i removed the back =)

but now i have 15 other wolves and no idea what to do with them.... HAHAHAHA!

Limited Edition Twilight Book Cards

So, i am a Twihard fan... (Really Dorothy??!!!? how would ANYONE have know something like that??!!!?) I know, it isnt obvious but its true..... So, first things first. I saw it and i wanted it but i couldnt afford it... and i kinda already had it... I wont tell you what but some of you should be able to guess.... (psst... its the stunning boxed set, complete with all four hardcover books as well as four collectible prints)




Anyway, in my irritation, i was hit with inspiration to make something.... Cards with Twilight cover pictures and quotes behind...




And they turned out great!!!









And out of the goodness of my heart i've decided to share these.... =)
